In Theaters Now:
"Rabbit Hole" - 4 (out of 5) stars - "A melancholy yet strangely pleasant film that explores some of the range of emotions and issues that may arise from a terrible tragedy as well as any sort of true life altering event. Both Kidman and Eckhart are very convincing in their roles as the grieving mother and father. The true high point of the film is watching the raw, uncomfortable, strangely healing and magnetic footage between Kidman and Teller as the teenager who happened to be behind the wheel when her son was killed."
"The King's Speech" - 4 stars - "A rather fun and lighthearted period piece that once again showcases the talent of the previously underrated Colin Firth. With grand performances from both Firth and the always amazing Geoffrey Rush, while not exactly a mind blowing film or script, it's still quite difficult to not enjoy."
On Blu Ray/DVD:
"Joan Rivers: A Piece of Work" - 3 stars - "A fascinating look at one of the true queens of comedy. Touching upon both the high and low points of her career, no matter how you feel about Joan Rivers before watching the movie, it's hard not to be a fan afterwards."
"Color Me Kubrick" - 3 stars - "This reasonably true story of an alcholic who impersonated Stanley Kubrick throughout the 1990's is nothing short of fun and entertaining. The always interesting John Malkovich takes us on a pleasant ride through a day in the life of a con man. Actual Kubrick fans will really appreciate the small elements of Kubrick films tastefully and jokingly represented throughout the story."
